Press Release Official News Kalimantan Tengah Economic Growth Statistics

Palangka Raya - The BPS-Statistics has released the latest strategic indicators related to Economic Growth Quarter IV 2020 on Friday, February 5, 2021. This was conveyed by the Head of BPS Central Kalimantan Province, Eko Marsoro, accompanied by the Head of Regional Balance and Statistical Analysis, Arham Riva'i. Central Kalimantan's Economy in 2020 Contracted 1.40%. The economy of Central Kalimantan in 2020 as measured by Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) at current prices reached 152,190.9 million rupiah and on a constant basis in 2010 it reached 98,956.7 million rupiah.

In terms of production, the category with the largest contraction was Corporate Services, which grew negatively by 13.74 percent. In terms of expenditure, the largest contraction occurred in the Export component by 7.23 percent.
