BPS-Statistics of Kalimantan Tengah, Vertical Public Institution Rank 1 Towards Informative in 2020

Palangka Raya - BPS-Statistics of Kalimantan Tengah Province made another brilliant achievement in early 2021. On March 15, 2021 at the Eka Hapakat Hall, the Office of the Governor of Kalimantan Tengah, BPS-Statistics of Kalimantan Tengah Province and the heads of vertical institutions and heads of regional offices / agencies / officials attended the event. The 2020 Public Institution Information Disclosure Award in Kalimantan Tengah Province as the final result of monitoring and evaluation by the Information Commission regarding the implementation and compliance of public agencies in information disclosure services.

The series of monitoring and evaluation up to the awarding of public information disclosure is based on Indromation Commician Regulation Number 5 of 2016 (Peraturan Komisi Informasi No.5 Tahun 2016) concerning Methods and Techniques for Evaluating Public F Information Disclosure and other technical guidelines from the central Information Commission. The qualification for the final results of monitoring and evaluation of information disclosure of public institutions consists of Informative Public Institutions with a score of 97-100, Public Institutions Towards Informative with a score of 80-96, Enough Informative Public Institutions with a score of 60-79, and Less Informative Public Institutions with a score of 40-59, then Uninformative Public Institutions with a score of <39. 

BPS-Statistics of Kalimantan Tengah Province received the 2020 Public Agency Information Disclosure award as a Vertical Public Institution in Kalimantan Tengah Province Rank 1 qualifying Towards Informative with a score of 95.34 in the implementation of Law number 14 of 2008 concerning Openness of Public Information. The awards and trophies were handed over by the Governor's Expert Staff for Community Affairs and Human Resources, Herson B. Aden.

Implementation of Law number 14 of 2008 is the obligation of every Public Institution to open access to public information about this Public Institution for the wider community.
