Palangka Raya - BPS-Statistics of Kalimantan Tengah Province received a working visit during the recess period, a member of the DPR RI Electoral District of Kalimantan Tengah, Dr. Ir. Willy Midel Yoseph, M.M and his staff, H. Maryono and Yurianson Djata as experts and Yuandrey Serang and Andy Nicolas as administrative staff on Tuesday, April 27, 2021.
Taking place in the Video Conference Room of BPS-Statistics of Kalimantan Tengah Province, this regional figure who once served as the Regent of Murung Raya conveyed the socialization related to the functions of the DPR RI, namely the function of legislation / laws, budget function, and oversight function. The DPR RI has 11 (eleven) commissions, namely commissions 1 to 11 while Dr. Ir Willy Midel Yoseph is included in Commission VII which has a scope of duties in the fields of Energy, Research and Technology.
He conveyed that related to the electrification ratio, fuel and gas subsidies of 3 Kg, as well as one of the Priority Bills to be discussed at Commission VII is a bill on new and renewable energy following the times.
On this occasion, the aims and objectives of this Recess Work Visit were to collect the data needed as material for discussion during a joint working meeting of the DPR RI related to Energy, Religion and the Economy of Kalimantan Tengah.
Responding to this, the Head of the BPS-Statistics of Kalimantan Tengah Province, Eko Marsoro, explained the related data needed by the members of the DPR RI as well as disseminating the recently released BPS data. Not all data needs of every data consumer can be fulfilled by BPS, because BPS fully organizes basic statistics, while sectoral statistics are carried out by each other Ministry / Agency / Service / Agency that has received a statistical recommendation from BPS. Therefore, the Head of BPS-Statistics of Kalimantan Tengah Province also took the time to explain the Progress of One Indonesian Data BPS with the support of BPS to issue BPS Regulations and Satudata Principles.
The Head of BPS-Statistics of Kalimantan Tengah Province also invited the DPR RI Member to visit the Integrated Statistics Service and provide BPS-Statistics of Kalimantan Tengah Province's Publications in the form of hardcopy and softcopy.
