The 2022 Cost of Living Survey Kalimantan Tengah Province Results Booklet has been released

The 2022 Cost of Living Survey (SBH) is an update of the commodity package in the previous base year, namely 2018. As we know, SBH is one of the building blocks for calculating the Consumer Price Index (CPI) to measure the level of inflation/deflation. So, in order to maintain the relevance of the CPI to consumption patterns in society, the weighting pattern and commodity packages of goods and services need to be updated every 5 years.

The change in the base year from 2018 to 2022 is an updating step to maintain the quality of calculating inflation/deflation figures released by BPS, considering that after the Covid-19 pandemic the economy is considered more stable.
