Palangkaraya – the 2024 E-Commerce Survey Field Officer Training was held by the Central Kalimantan BPS at the Swiss-Belhotel Danum Palangka Raya Hotel on September 23-24, 2024.
This training activity was opened by the Head of the Central Kalimantan BPS, represented by the Head of the General Section of the Central Kalimantan BPS, Maria Wahyu Utami. This training was attended by 77 field officers from 10 sample districts/cities in Central Kalimantan Province. The districts/cities that were sampled in this E-Commerce Survey include West Kotawaringin, East Kotawaringin, Kapuas, South Barito, North Barito, Lamandau, Seruyan, Pulang Pisau, East Barito, and Palangkaraya.
The E-Commerce Survey is an annual survey conducted by the Directorate of Financial Statistics, Information Technology and Tourism (KTIP) of the Central Statistics Agency since 2019. This survey is expected to provide basic indicators related to e-commerce and digital trade which include the number of businesses, types of goods/services sold, transaction value, payment methods, and shipping methods, and other indicators.
This training activity aims to ensure that survey officers can understand their duties and functions comprehensively, both in updating data and during the enumeration activities later according to the predetermined schedule.
