Release of Official News Statistics on Economic Growth and Employment Conditions

Tuesday, November 5 2024 - BPS Kalimantan Tengah Province releases Official Statistical News. Some of the indicators released include: Economic Growth of Kalimantan Tengah Province Quarter III - 2024 and Employment Conditions of Kalimantan Tengah Province August 2024. The release was delivered directly by the head of BPS Kalimantan Tengah Province, Agnes Widiastuti and accompanied by the Governor's Expert Staff for Economics, Finance and Development of Kalimantan Tengah Province, Yuas Elko. Taking place in the Video Conference room of the Kalimantan Tengah Province BPS office which was also attended by related agencies and journalists.

One of the released indicators presented is that the Kalimantan Tengah economy in the third quarter of 2024 versus the third quarter of 2023 (y-on-y) grew by 4.64 percent. In terms of production, the highest growth occurred in the Other Services business field at 12.71 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the government consumption expenditure component (PK-P) experienced the highest growth of 15.63 percent.
