BPS Attends RAKOR and FORKOPIMDA

The Head of the Kalimantan Tengah BPS Province also attended the coordination meeting and the regional leadership coordination forum (Forkopimda) in order to welcome Eid al-Fitr 1446H. This important meeting was attended by the Regional Police Chief, Military District Commander, High Prosecutor's Office, Head of Intelligence Agency, and representatives of Bank Indonesia. The Governor Kalimantan Tengah requested the latest information regarding regional readiness to face the surge in demand during Eid. The Kalimantan Tengah BPS provided in-depth insight into basic commodities whose availability needs to be maintained. In addition, the price development index was also presented as a reference for controlling inflation. The frequency of air and sea transportation is also a concern, considering the increasing mobility of the community. This data is expected to be the basis for strategic decision-making by the Kalimantan Tengah Provincial Government. This cross-sector collaboration is crucial to ensure price stability and smooth distribution during the Eid al-Fitr period.
