The Number of Passengers in Air Transport Declines 6.58 percent, Sea 27.94 percent

Abstract

The number of passengers through air transportation fell 6.58 percent from 180,335 people (August 2018) to 168,463 people (September 2018).

The number of passengers through sea transportation fell 27.94 percent from 26,642 people (August 2018) to 19,198 people (September 2018).

Air freight traffic fell 22.18 percent from 2,525 tons (August 2018) to 1,965 tons (September 2018). The decline came from the volume of unloading of goods (25.77 percent) and loading of goods (13.58 percent).

Sea freight traffic rose 4.56 percent from 1.50 million tons (August 2018) to 1.57 million tons (September 2018). The increase occurred in the unloading volume of goods (64.88 percent).
