Abstract

  • The number of passengers through sea transportation rose 32.27 percent from 14,440 people (October 2018) to 19,100 people (November 2018).
  • The flow of goods through the sea fell 19.61 percent from 1.86 million tons (October 2018) to 1.50 million tons (November 2018). The decrease occurred in the loading volume of goods (29.18 percent) and loading goods (15.91 percent).
  • Flight frequency dropped 5.53 percent from 1,988 flights (October 2018) to 1,878 flights (November 2018).
  • The number of passengers through air transportation fell 8.16 percent from 161,858 people (October 2018) to 148,656 people in November 2018).
  • The flow of goods traffic through the air also fell 8.45 percent from 1,930 tons (October 2018) to 1,767 tons (November 2018). The decrease came from the unloading volume of goods (7.66 percent) and cargo loading (10.00 percent).
  • Through seaports, passenger activity is concentrated in Kumai (67.15 percent) and goods in Sampit (45.08 percent). While through the airport, it is still concentrated in Tjilik Riwut both passenger activities (49.17 percent) and goods (54.61 percent).
