Abstract

The number of guests staying at star hotels fell 4.69 percent, from 23,561 people (August 2019) to 22,455 people (September 2019). However, the number of guests staying at non-star hotels rose 29.23 percent, from 45,068 people (August 2019) to 58,242 people (September 2019).
  • Cumulatively, the number of guests staying at star hotels rose 3.08 percent, from 202,925 people (January-September 2018) to 209,185 people (January-September 2019). In contrast, the number of guests at non-star hotels fell 9.24 percent, from 543,195 people (January-September 2018) to 493,005 people (January-September 2019).
  • The room occupancy rate (TPK) of star hotels fell 1.67 points, from 53.96 percent (August 2019) to 52.29 percent (September 2019). ROR for non-star hotels also fell 0.76 points, from 22.56 percent (August 2019) to 21.80 percent (September 2019).
  • The average length of stay (RLTM) at a star hotel (1.53 days), is longer than that at non-star hotels (1.18 days).
