Abstract

The number of guests staying at star hotels rose 0.71 percent, from 26,105 people (October 2019) to 26,291 people (November 2019). The number of guests staying at non-star hotels also rose 5.67 percent, from 58,686 people (October 2019) to 62,011 people (November 2019).
  • Cumulatively, the number of guests staying at star hotels rose 4.44 percent, from 250,469 people (January-November 2018) to 261,581 people (January-November 2019). In contrast, the number of guests at non-star hotels dropped by 7.48 percent, from 663,311 people (January-November 2018) to 613,702 people (January-November 2019).
  • Room occupancy rate (ROR) of star hotels fell 2.22 points, from 60.68 percent (October 2019) to 58.46 percent (November 2019). In contrast, the ROR for non-star hotels rose 2.48 points, from 22.00 percent (October 2019) to 24.48 percent (November 2019).
  • The average length of stay (RLTM) in star hotels (1.48 days), longer than those in non-star hotels (1.21 days).
