Abstract

The frequency of ship visits in the ports of the Kalimantan Tengah region fell 9.87 percent from 709 visits (December 2019) to 639 (January 2020).
  • The number of passengers via sea transportation also dropped 1.97 percent from 36,065 people (December 2019) to 35,354 people (January 2020).
  • The flow of goods traffic through ships decreased 10.52 percent from 1.71 million tons (December 2019) to 1.53 million tons (January 2020).
  • Ship passenger activities are concentrated in Kumai (55.71 percent) and the volume of goods flow in Sampit (61.73 percent).
  • Frequency of flights dropped 5.39 percent from 1,875 flights (December 2019) to 1,774 flights (January 2020).
  • The number of passengers via air transportation decreased 4.51 percent from 143,890 people (December 2019) to 137,401 people (January 2020).
  • The flow of goods traffic through the air fell 8.37 percent from 1,613 tons (December 2019) to 1,478 tons (January 2020).
