Abstract

Combined NTP in Kalimantan Tengah Province fell 1.91 points, from 102.38 percent (April 2020) to 100.47 percent (May 2020). This was influenced by the decline in the exchange rate of the smallholder estate crops (3.17 points), horticulture (0.99 points), livestock (0.65 points), and food crops (0.38 points).
  • The price index received by farmers (𝐼𝑡) fell 1.77 points while the price index paid by farmers (𝐼𝑏) rose 0.27 points.
  • The highest FTT occurred in the fisheries subsector (102.19 percent), followed by smallholder plantations (101.03 percent), horticulture (100.81 percent), livestock (100.79 percent), and food crops (98.33 percent).
  • Agricultural Household Exchange (NTUP) fell 2.03 points, from 103.75 percent (April 2020) to 101.72 percent (May 2020).
  • The Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in rural areas is 106.91 percent or 0.26 percent inflation occurs. There was an increase in the price index in almost all groups of household expenditure, except in the expenditure group for information, communication and financial services.
