February 2021, The number of sea and air transportation passengers decreased by 19.27 percent and 14.28 percent compared to January 2021.

Abstract

The frequency of visits by ships to the ports of the Central Kalimantan region during February 2021 did not change when compared to January 2021, which was 633 visits.

The number of sea transport passengers decreased by 19.27 percent, from 17,899 people (January 2021) to 14,449 people (February 2021).

Freight traffic using sea transportation increased by 15.33 percent, from 1.28 million tons (January 2021) to 1.47 million tons (February 2021).

Sea transport passenger activities are concentrated in Kumai Port (75.74 percent), while the volume of goods flows at Sampit Port (47.47 percent).

Flight frequency decreased 10.60 percent, from 868 flights (January 2021) to 776 flights (February 2021).

The number of air transport passengers decreased by 14.28 percent, from 56,695 people (January 2021) to 48,600 people (February 2021).

Freight traffic using air transport decreased by 13.09 percent, from 909 tons (January 2021) to 790 tons (February 2021).
