May 2021: Kalimantan Tengah's Combined FTT of 114.45, up 1.22% compared to April 2021. Rural household IKRT rose 0.91%

Abstract

Kalimantan Tengah's Joint NTP rose 1.22 percent, from 113.07 (April 2021) to 114.45 (May 2021). This increase was driven by an increase in the exchange rate of the smallholder plantation sub-sector (2.02 percent), livestock (1.62 percent) and the fisheries sub-sector (0.12 percent).
  • The highest FTT occurred in the smallholder plantation sub-sector (126.16), followed by the livestock sub-sector (105.08), horticulture (103.12), fisheries (102.19) and food crops (96.92).
  • The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) increased by 1.73 percent, from 114.85 (April 2021) to 116.84 (May 2021).
  • The price index received by farmers (I_t) was 124.53 (up 2.01 percent) and the price index paid by farmers (I_b) was 108.80 (up 0.77 percent).
  • The Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in May 2021 was 109.49 or an increase of 0.91 percent compared to April 2021.
