October 2021: The number of sea and air transportation passengers increased by 43.18% and 56.81% compared to September 2021.

Abstract

Flight frequency increased 48.24 percent, from 568 flights (September 2021) to 842 flights (October 2021).

The number of air transport passengers rose 56.81 percent, from 36,454 people (September 2021) to 57,162 people (October 2021).

Freight traffic using air transportation rose 36.84 percent, from 809 tons (September 2021) to 1,107 tons (October 2021).

The frequency of ship visits at ports in the Kalimantan Tengah region rose 0.14 percent, from 717 visits (September 2021) to 718 visits (October 2021).

The number of sea transport passengers increased by 43.18 percent, from 17,278 people (September 2021) to 24,739 people (October 2021).

Freight traffic using sea transportation rose 21.25 percent, from 1.28 million tons (September 2021) to 1.55 million tons (October 2021).

Sea transportation passenger activities are concentrated in Kumai Port (70.47 percent), while the volume of goods flows at Sampit Port (29.53 percent).
