Kalimantan Tengah Economic in 2021 Grew for 3,40%

Abstract

The economy of Central Kalimantan, based on the amount of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) based on current prices in 2021, will reach Rp. 170.0 trillion and based on constant prices in 2010 it will reach Rp. 102.3 trillion.
  • Central Kalimantan's economy in 2021 will grow 3.40 percent. In terms of production, the Information and Communication Business Field experienced the highest growth of 17.34 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the Government Consumption Expenditure Component (PK-P) experienced the highest growth of 7.46 percent.
  • The economy of Central Kalimantan in the fourth quarter of 2021 compared to the third quarter of 2021 experienced a growth of 6.92 percent (q-to-q). In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by the Mining and Quarrying category which grew by 24.39 percent. In terms of expenditure, the Government Consumption Expenditure Component (PK-P) experienced the highest growth of 17.15 percent.
  • The economy of Central Kalimantan in the fourth quarter of 2021 compared to the fourth quarter of 2020 (y-on-y) grew by 7.61 percent. In terms of production, the largest growth occurred in the Mining and Quarrying Business Field of 47.96 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side of all components, the highest growth occurred in the Government Consumption Expenditure Component (PK-P) of 14.53 percent.
  • The spatial structure of the Kalimantan economy in the fourth quarter of 2021 is still dominated by the province of East Kalimantan at 49.48 percent. Central Kalimantan province is in fourth place with a contribution of 12.69 percent.
