Abstract

Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the index of prices paid by farmers (Ib).

NTP is one indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchange power (terms of trade) of the product agriculture with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.

Combined NTP of Kalimantan Tengah in March 2022 increased by 1.52 percent compared to February 2022, from 131.88 to 133.89. Enhancement This was driven by rising exchange rates in several sub-sectors, namely the smallholder plantation crops (2.39 percent), horticulture subsector (1.79 percent) and livestock sub-sector (0.02 percent). Meanwhile, the other two sub-sectors experienced a decline, namely the fisheries sub-sector (0.74 percent) and the sub-sector food crops (0.71 percent).

In March 2022 there was an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in Kalimantan Tengah by 0.65 percent which was mainly due to the increase in the food, beverage and tobacco group (0.78 percent) and the personal care and other services (0.76 percent).

Kalimantan Tengah Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in March 2022 amounted to 134.54 or an increase of 1.73 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
