March 2022: Kalimantan Tengah exports worth US$525.86 million, up 2.18 percent compared to February 2022 and imports up 6.11 percent to US$2.78 million

Abstract

The export value of Kalimantan Tengah in March 2022 reached US$525.86 million, up 2.18 percent compared to exports in February 2022 and up 140.60 percent compared to March 2021.

Coal, palm oil, zircon ore and aluminum ore are Kalimantan Tengah's main export commodities during March 2022.

Japan, China and India became the main export destination countries for Kalimantan Tengah during March 2022.

Cumulatively, Kalimantan Tengah's export value increased by 82.87 percent, from US$667.74 million (January-March 2021) to US$1,221.12 million (January-March 2022).

The value of Kalimantan Tengah's imports during March 2022 reached US$2.78 million, up 6.11 percent compared to February 2022 but decreased by 74.61 percent compared to March 2021.

Cumulatively, Kalimantan Tengah's import value decreased by 39.12 percent, from US$14.47 million (January-March 2021) to US$8.81 million (January-March 2022).

Laos, Singapore and Germany will be the main origin countries of Kalimantan Tengah's imports during March 2022.

Kalimantan Tengah's foreign trade balance experienced a surplus of US$523.08 million in March 2022.
