Abstract

In 2023, the paddy harvested area is estimated to be 101.09 thousand hectares with paddy production of around 334.73 tons of milled dry grain (GKG).
  • If converted into rice for population food consumption, rice production in 2023 is estimated at 198.84 tons.
  • The paddy harvested area in 2023 is estimated to be around 101.09 thousand hectares, a decrease of 7.13 thousand hectares or 6.59 percent compared to the rice harvest area in 2022 which was 108.23 thousand hectares.
  • Rice production in 2023 is estimated at 334.73 thousand tons of GKG, a decrease of 9.19 thousand tons of GKG or 2.67 percent compared to rice production in 2022 which was 343.92 thousand tons of GKG.
  • Rice production in 2023 for food consumption for the population is estimated to be around 198.84 tons, a decrease of 5.46 thousand tons or 2.67 percent compared to rice production in 2022 which was 204.29 thousand tons.
