July 2024: the year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation rate for Kalimantan Tengah Province was 1.28 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Palangka Raya at 1.81 percent

Abstract

In July 2024, year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Kalimantan Tengah Province will be 1.28 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.94. The highest inflation occurred in Palangka Raya City at 1.81 percent with a CPI of 105.73 and the lowest occurred in Kapuas Regency at 0.49 percent with a CPI of 106.40.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by the increase in most expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 1.74 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.12 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 0.71 percent; health group by 1.67 percent; transportation group at 0.63 percent; information, communication and financial services group at 0.05 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 1.72 percent; education group at 2.29 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 2.04 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 3.21 percent. Meanwhile, the expenditure groups that experienced a decline in the index were: the housing, water, electricity and household fuel groups by 0.17 percent.

The month-to-month (m-to-m) deflation rate for Kalimantan Tengah Province in July 2024 was 0.68 percent and the year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate in July 2024 was 0.37 percent.

May 2024, inflation Year on Year (y-on-y) Kalimantan Tengah Province amounting to 2.72 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Sampit at 3.25 percent.

June 2024, inflation Year on Year (y-on-y) Kalimantan Tengah Province amounting to 2.22 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Sampit at 2.51 percent

March 2025, Year-on-Year (y-on-y) inflation in Kalimantan Tengah Province was 1.33 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Sukamara Regency at 2.27 percent.

February 2024, Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in Kalimantan Tengah Province will be 2.46 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Kapuas at 2.90 percent
