December 2024, Year-on-Year (y-on-y) inflation in Central Kalimantan Province was 1.03 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Sukamara Regency at 1.19 percent.

Abstract

In December 2024 there will be year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Kalimantan Tengah Province was 1.03 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.64. The highest inflation occurred in Sukamara Regency at 1.19 percent with the CPI amounting to 108.03 and the lowest in Palangka Raya City at 0.88 percent with CPI was 106.09.
Y-on-y inflation occurs due to an increase in prices as indicated by the increase in most expenditure group indices, namely: food group, drinks and tobacco by 1.71 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.42 percent; groups of equipment, equipment and routine maintenance households by 0.26 percent; health group at 1.21 percent; education group at 2.21 percent; food supply groups and drinks/restaurants by 1.54 percent; and the personal care and services group others amounted to 5.17 percent. Meanwhile, the expenditure group experienced decrease in index, namely: housing, water, electricity and home fuel groups stairs by 0.16 percent; transportation group by 1.96 percent; group information, communication and financial services at 0.06 percent; and groups recreation, sports and culture by 0.07 percent.

May 2024, inflation Year on Year (y-on-y) Kalimantan Tengah Province amounting to 2.72 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Sampit at 3.25 percent.
