The export of Central Kalimantan in December 2024 amounted to US$417.22 million, an increase of 17.07 percent compared to November 2024.

Abstract

The export value of Kalimantan Tengah in December 2024 reached US$417.22 million, up 17.07 percent compared to November 2024 exports, but down 24.30 percent compared to December 2023 exports.
Coal, palm oil, zirconium ore, niobium, and tantalum, lignite, processed wood, crumb rubber, other mineral materials, other non-timber forest products, basic organic chemicals sourced from agricultural products were the main export commodities of Kalimantan Tengah during December 2024.
Japan, China, and Vietnam were the main destination countries for Kalimantan Tengah's exports during December 2024.
The import value of Kalimantan Tengah during December 2024 reached US$3.10 million, down 21.91 percent compared to November 2024, and down 34.87 percent compared to December 2023.
Asphalt and fertilizer were the main import commodities of Kalimantan Tengah during December 2024.
Singapore and Laos were the main countries of origin for Kalimantan Tengah's imports during December 2024.
Kalimantan Tengah's foreign trade balance in December 2024 recorded a surplus of US$414.12 million.

Kalimantan Tengah's foreign trade in February 2025 recorded exports of US$302.54 million, an increase of 1.73 percent compared to January, while imports fell by 60.53 percent to US$1.65 million.

Kalimantan Tengah's export in May 2024 were worth US$328.96 million, down 0.77 percent compared to April 2024

August 2022: Combined NTP of Kalimantan Tengah during August 2022 amounted to 116.08, an increase of 4.43 percent compared to July 2022.

August 2024: The export value of Kalimantan Tengah reached US$233.61 million, a decrease of 13.76 percent compared to exports in July 2024

January 2025, Kalimantan Tengah's export value reached US$297.40 million (down 28.72%), while its import value was recorded at US$4.18 million (up 34.84%) compared to December 2024.
