January 2025 Year-on-Year (y-on-y) inflation in Kalimantan Tengah Province was 0.28 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Kapuas Regency at 0.97 percent.

In January 2025, the year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation rate in Central Kalimantan Province was 0.28 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.06. The highest inflation occurred in Kapuas Regency at 0.97 percent with a CPI of 107.81. Meanwhile, deflation occurred in Palangka Raya City at 0.15 percent with a CPI of 105.15.

The y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by the rise in most of the expenditure group indices, namely: food, beverages and tobacco group by 2.98 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.68 percent; household equipment, appliances and routine maintenance group by 0.44 percent; health group by 1.91 percent; recreation, sports, and culture group by 0.91 percent; education group by 2.25 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 1.99 percent; and personal care and other services group by 5.62 percent. Meanwhile, the expenditure groups that experienced a decrease in the index were: housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 11.23 percent; transportation group by 0.31 percent; and information, communication, and financial services group by 0.06 percent.

The month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation rate in Central Kalimantan Province in January 2025 was -0.54 percent and the year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate for January 2025 was -0.54 percent.
