Abstract

February 2025: The number of air transportation passengers during February 2025 decreased by 13.29 percent compared to January 2025 and the number of sea transportation passengers decreased by 12.18 percent.

  • Flight frequency in February 2025 decreased by 12.74 percent compared to January 2025, from 1,162 flights to 1,014 flights.
  • The number of air transportation passengers decreased by 13.29 percent, from 119,156 people (January 2025) to 103,326 people (February 2025).
  • Goods traffic using air transportation decreased by 15.81 percent, from 2,460 tons (January 2025) to 2,071 tons (February 2025).
  • During February 2025, air passenger activity (52.55 percent) and goods flow (76.15 percent) are concentrated at Tjilik Riwut Palangka Raya Airport.
  • The frequency of ship visits to ports in the Kalimantan Tengah region decreased by 2.02 percent, from 744 visits (January 2025) to 729 visits (February 2025).
  • The number of sea transportation passengers decreased by 12.18 percent, from 30,446 people (January 2025) to 26,738 people (February 2025).
  • Traffic of goods using sea transportation increased by 2.89 percent, from 1.83 million tonnes (January 2025) to 1.88 million tonnes (February 2025).
  • During February 2025, sea transport passenger activities were concentrated at Kumai Port (76.98 percent), while the flow of goods was concentrated at Sampit Port (56.06 percent).
