Air Transport Passengers Increased by 14.01 Percent and Sea Transport Rose by 103.61 Percent in March 2025 Compared to February

March 2025: The number of air transportation passengers during March 2025 increased by 14.01 percent compared to February 2025 and the number of sea transportation passengers increased by 103.61 percent.

• Flight frequency in March 2025 increased by 32.05 percent compared to February 2025, from 1,014 flights to 1,339 flights.
• The number of air transportation passengers increased by 14.01 percent, from 103,326 people (February 2025) to 117,799 people (March 2025).
• Goods traffic using air transportation increased by 36.84 percent, from 2,071 tons (February 2025) to 2,834 tons (March 2025).
• During March 2025, air passenger activity (52.55 percent) and goods flow (76.15 percent) are concentrated at Tjilik Riwut Palangka Raya Airport.
• The frequency of ship visits to ports in the Kalimantan Tengah region increased by 17.15 percent, from 729 visits (February 2025) to 854 visits (March 2025).
• The number of sea transportation passengers increased by 103.61 percent, from 26,738 people (February 2025) to 54,442 people (March 2025).
• Traffic of goods using sea transportation increased by 23.92 percent, from 1.88 million tonnes (February 2025) to 2.34 million tonnes (March 2025).
• During March 2025, sea transport passenger activities were concentrated at Kumai Port (74.32 percent), while the flow of goods was concentrated at Sampit Port (58.84 percent).
