The number of air transport passengers in Kalimantan Tengah Province in April 2025 recorded a 26.89 percent increase compared to March 2025.

April 2025: The number of air transportation passengers during April 2025 increased by 26.89 percent compared to March 2025 and the number of sea transportation passengers increased by 33.01 percent.

• Flight frequency in April 2025 increased by 9.93 percent compared to March 2025, from 1,339 flights to 1,472 flights.
• The number of air transportation passengers increased by 26.89 percent, from 117,799 people (March 2025) to 149,478 people (April 2025).
• Goods traffic using air transportation increased by 3.18 percent, from 2,834 tons (March 2025) to 2,924 tons (April 2025).
• During April 2025, air passenger activity (57.10 percent) and goods flow (77.19 percent) are concentrated at Tjilik Riwut Palangka Raya Airport.
• The frequency of ship visits to ports in the Kalimantan Tengah region decreased by 1.76 percent, from 854 visits (March 2025) to 839 visits (April 2025).
• The number of sea transportation passengers increased by 33.01 percent, from 54,442 people (March 2025) to 72,415 people (April 2025).
• Traffic of goods using sea transportation decreased by 10.17 percent, from 2.34 million tonnes (March 2025) to 2.10 million tonnes (April 2025).
• During April 2025, sea transport passenger activities were concentrated at Kumai Port (75.65 percent), while the flow of goods was concentrated at Sampit Port (60.74 percent).
