Data Collection of Village Potential (PODES) was held in 2018. This activity was held three times in ten years, two years before the census. The last PODES was heldin 2014. What are the benefits of PODES? PODES can present the data potential of rural / urban as material preparation of small area statistics, the preparation of various analytical and policy related to regional programs, and as the calculation of such indicators calculation Geographic Difficulty Index (IKG).

The data are certainly not raw data but the results of field data collection data that has been processed / processed first to get analisisinya. Processing is not easy because the number of questionnaires is very much. Therefore, BPS builds a processing system from receipt of documents from field to document storage. Training was done for processing managers to understand each groove well.

PODES processing training in 2018 was held on 10-14 May 2018 at the Hotel Neo Palma, Palangkaraya. The training was attended by Section Chief / person in charge of district / city IPDS. This training material is about explanation of document flow and trial of application entry. Participants can provide application-related criticism and suggestions when errors are found. That way, the application can be more perfect and can accommodate the problems that occur in the area.
