Focus Group Discussion on the Indonesian Democracy Index (FGD IDI) 2020

In order to increase information related to IDI Indicator data, BPS-Statistics of Kalimantan Tengah Province held an online IDI FGD on Thursday, April 22, 2021 through virtual zoom media along with BPS participants and institutions, universities, journalists, political members, and NGOs.

The IDI FGD was conducted to obtain information on IDI indicator data that has been collected by BPS through newspaper coding and requests for data from the agency. In addition, this FGD is also to explore new cases related to the IDI indicator which have not been obtained from newspaper coding and official data requests.

The schedule of the IDI FGD includes the Kalimantan Tengah Province Political and National Unity Body Exposure, a general explanation by BPS, an explanation of aspects of civil liberties, political rights and democratic institutions as well as confirmation from participants about the data that has been sent and exploration of new cases. The event went on smoothly and all participants were actively involved in the discussion.
