National Waste Awareness Day Commemoration

Every year, February 21 is commemorated as National Waste Awareness Day (HPSN). The HPSN commemoration is a constellation of the long journey of the waste management system due to the irony of the collapse of the Leuwigajah TPA, Cimahi which claimed many victims on February 21, 2005 and became a turning point for waste management in Indonesia.

The 2025 HPSN commemoration takes the theme "Collaboration for a Clean Indonesia". Collaboration from all parties is needed to implement real solutions in waste management.
