During August 2019, the ROR of star hotels fell by 4.09 points compared to last month.

The number of guests staying at star hotels fell 10.31 percent, from 26,269 people (July 2019) to 23,561 people (August 2019). The number of guests staying at non-star hotels also fell 26.20 percent, from 61,066 people (July 2019) to 45,068 people (August 2019).

Cumulatively, the number of guests staying at star hotels rose 4.33 percent, from 178,973 people (January-August 2018) to 186,730 people (January-August 2019). In contrast, the number of guests at non-star hotels fell 10.59 percent, from 486,242 people (January-August 2018) to 434,763 people (January-August 2019).

Room occupancy rate (TPK) of star hotels fell 4.09 points, from 58.05 percent (July 2019) to 53.96 percent (August 2019). In contrast, the ROR for non-star hotels rose 0.07 points, from 22.49 percent (July 2019) to 22.56 percent (August 2019).

Average length of stay (RLTM) at star hotels (1.64 days), longer than non-star hotel guests (1.29 days).
