Abstract

  • Combined NTP in Kalimantan Tengah Province fell 2.83 points, from 105.21 percent (March 2020) to 102.38 percent (April 2020). This was influenced by the decline in the exchange rate of the smallholder estate crops (5.19 points), livestock (1.53 points) and fisheries (1.23 points).
  • The price index received by farmers (It) fell 3.00 points while the price index paid by farmers (Ib) did not change compared to last month.
  • The highest FTT occurred in the smallholder estate crops sub-sector (104.20 percent) followed by fisheries (101.74 percent), livestock (101.44 percent), horticulture (101.80 percent), and food crops (98.71 percent).
  • Agricultural Household Exchange (NTUP) fell 2.91 points, from 106.66 percent (March 2020) to 103.75 percent (April 2020).
  • The Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in rural areas is 106.63 percent or deflation is 0.01 percent. There was an increase in the price index in almost all groups of household expenditure, except in the expenditure group for food, beverages and tobacco.
