September 2021: Kalimantan Tengah's exports valued at US$169.63 million, down 32.08% compared to August 2021. Imports fell 14.87% to US$2.29 million.

Abstract

The export value of Kalimantan Tengah in September 2021 reached US$169.63 million, down 32.08 percent compared to August 2021 exports, but up 43.82 percent compared to September 2020.

Coal, palm oil and natural rubber are Kalimantan Tengah's main export commodities during September 2021.

China, Japan and Malaysia are the main export destinations for Kalimantan Tengah during September 2021.

Cumulatively, Kalimantan Tengah's export value increased by 56.62 percent, from US$1,341.85 million (January–September 2020) to US$2,101.54 million (January–September 2021).

The import value of Kalimantan Tengah during September 2021 reached US$2.29 million, down 14.87 percent compared to August 2021 and down 47.72 percent compared to September 2020.

Cumulatively, the import value increased by 43.53 percent from US$25.64 million (January–September 2020) to US$36.80 million (January–September 2021).

Kalimantan Tengah's foreign trade balance experienced a surplus of US$167.34 million in September 2021 and US$2,064.74 million in the period January–September 2021.
