Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib) multiplied by 100.
NTP is an indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchangeability (terms of trade) of agricultural products for goods and services consumed and for production costs.
The Combined NTP of Kalimantan Tengah Province in December 2024 increased by 1.35 percent compared to November 2024, namely from 131.22 to 132.99. This increase was caused by an increase in the exchange rate in all subsectors, namely Food Crops (1.22 percent), Horticulture (2.94 percent), People's Plantation Crops (1.44 percent), Livestock (0.47 percent), and Fisheries ( 0.46 percent).
In December 2024, there will be an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in Kalimantan Tengah Province by 0.65 percent, which is mainly due to an increase in the index in the Food, Beverage and Tobacco group (1.00 percent); Personal Care and Other Services group (0.39 percent); Housing, Water, Electricity and Household Fuel group (0.37 percent); Equipment, Equipment and Routine Household Maintenance group (0.32 percent); Recreation, Sports and Culture group (0.29 percent); and the Clothing and Footwear group (0.11 percent).
The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Kalimantan Tengah Province in December 2024 increased by 1.76 percent, from 134.31 (November 2024) to 136.68 (December 2024).
