Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib) multiplied by 100.
NTP is an indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchangeability (terms of trade) of agricultural products for goods and services consumed and for production costs.
The Combined NTP of Kalimantan Tengah Province in March 2025 increased by 0.29 percent compared to February 2025, namely from 135.13 to 135.52. This increase was due to an increase in the exchange rate in several sub-sectors, namely Horticulture (5.55 percent), Community Plantation Crops (0.19 percent), and Livestock (0.22 percent).
In March 2025, there was an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in Kalimantan Tengah Province by 1.65 percent due to an increase in the index in the Food, Beverages, and Tobacco group (1.05 percent); Clothing and Footwear group (0.40 percent); Housing, Water, Electricity and Household Fuel group (14.99 percent); and Personal Care and Other Services group (0.92 percent).
The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Kalimantan Tengah Province in March 2025 increased by 1.48 percent, from 137.99 (February 2025) to 140.03 (March 2025).
