Abstract

  • Kalimantan Tengah's export value in February 2021 reached US $ 216.61 million or decreased by 6.86 percent compared to exports in January 2021, but increased by 15.45 percent compared to February 2020.
  • Coal, palm oil and timber were Kalimantan Tengah's main export commodities during February 2021.
  • Japan, China and India became the main export destinations for Kalimantan Tengah during February 2021.
  • Cumulatively, Kalimantan Tengah's export value increased by 35.04 percent, from US $ 332.62 million (January-February 2020) to US $ 449.18 million (January-February 2021).
  • Kalimantan Tengah's import value during February 2021 reached US $ 2.44 million, up 123.85 percent compared to January 2021 and up 6.55 percent compared to February 2020.
  • Cumulatively, the import value decreased by 38.72 percent from US $ 5.76 million (January-February 2020) to US $ 3.53 million (January-February 2021).
  • Kalimantan Tengah's foreign trade balance experienced a surplus of US $ 214.17 million in February 2021 and US $ 445.65 million in the January-February 2021 period.
